A new program "TOKYO CALLING" (every Thursday from 20:30 to 21:15) will start on TOKYO FM on April 7 (Thursday). The program picks up 300 groups of musicians expected to perform in "TOKYO CALLING 2016" every week and introduces their charms. We will complete the announcement of a total of 300 performing artists over the course of the year.
The program personalities are co-hosted by two rock programmers who are currently broadcasting on TOKYO FM. Taketo Ohkutsu of "TOKYO LOUD," which introduces loud rock, and Yui Kanno of "Radio Dragon NEXT," which backs up indie rock. These two music lovers will share with listeners the moment a new music movement in Tokyo is born.
